| Latest News After asking her hand in marriage, and going through the difficult wedding planning, Melissa and I decided to elope. Saving thousands of dollars, and months of time, we just went for it! Here comes another.... Schwandt. That's right, there is a baby Schwandt on the way! Don't know what it might be yet, but I know it's a girl because everyone wants a boy. Just as long as he/she is healthy I will be happy. |
My Gaming Updates After playing Anarchy Online for a year and a half, I've decided to quit. Paying for something that I hardly ever log into has gotten stale. The whole game has gotten rather stale to be honest. The guild I was in broke up due to incompetent GM's banning good friends for bugs in the game itself. It's also hard to find the 3-4 hour blocks of time just to get anything accomplished in game. I met a lot of good people, but for now it's time to move on. Maybe when they get their act together and release some worthwhile content, I will renew my account. I did try Asheron's Call 2 Beta, and did like it. They seem to have worked out the bugs rather nicely, and with Micro backing it, it's bound to do well. Only time will tell. But there again, it's a MMORPG where blocks of time are needed to get anything accomplished. So... My new poison is Unreal Tournament 2k3. This game is absolutely beautiful. My dad got me into the original Unreal long ago when I was playing Quake, and I've always been a fan of the Unreal series. This one is a good follow up to the previous releases. And I don't have to set aside 1530981501865 hours to play it and feel like I did nothing! |
